Just under two weeks before the start of the 2026-27 Premier League season, Leeds United are still yet to finish one Elland Road upgrade.
The Whites have been redeveloping Elland Road over the summer, with work done to make their home ground an elite UEFA category four venue.
However, with less than two weeks before the new season starts and three weeks until their opening home game against Brentford at the end of August, Leeds United are still yet to finish work on the dugouts at Elland Road.
Elland Road dugouts remain unfinished
Elland Road has been known for having sunken dugouts in the stadium, but work has been done to raise them to ground level ahead of the new season.
Drone footage earlier in the summer showed that the sunken patches had been filled with concrete, while new images shared by Isaac Johnson showed that there is still work to be done before the new dugouts are completed.
New seats for staff and players have been installed at ground level, but work is still to be finished with barriers between the dugouts and the crowd yet to be added.
In addition, raising the dugouts to ground level has meant that the fans seated in the front rows will have their pitchside views blocked.
While these seats may be adapted or changed to avoid views of the pitch being blocked, Leeds United now have just three weeks remaining to carry out and complete any renovations before their first home game of the 2026-27 Premier League season against Brentford.

Fans will be left concerned by the images showing that the front rows are likely to be blocked by the new dugouts, and Leeds United will have to work fast to avoid any complaints before the first home game of the new season at the end of the month.
