Luton Town’s Power Court stadium sees progress on all four stands as ‘excellent’ update now emerges

Luton Town's new Power Court stadium continues to take shape, with visible progress now being made across all four stands.

The latest update shows another key milestone completed as work ramps up across the site.

The complex sewage and drainage works have now been completed, allowing temporary site compounds associated with that work to be removed.

The West Stand remains the most complex part of the development because of the extensive facilities being housed inside it, including changing rooms and media areas.

Seven new columns have been added, while a significant concrete pour has also taken place on the first floor.

There has also been steady progress on the North and East Stands. The East Stand has seen substantial piling work, while new concrete and reinforcement can now clearly be seen taking shape on the North Stand.

Meanwhile, construction has continued on the first floor of the South Stand, with internal walls now being built out.

The latest footage has been warmly received by supporters, with comments describing it as an “excellent” and “great”, praising the progress being made.

There is still a significant amount of work to complete, however.

The club continues to target completion in spring 2027, but the pace will need to increase considerably over the coming months if the structural steel and roof are to be in place by the end of the year.

This is another really encouraging update for Luton, particularly because progress is no longer concentrated on one area of the site.

Seeing all four stands developing at the same time gives the project a much more complete feel.

There is still plenty of work ahead, and the timetable will need to be maintained, but with the drainage finished and the stands continuing to rise, Power Court is increasingly looking like a stadium rather than simply a construction site.
