Luton Town’s new Power Court stadium continues to take shape, with the West Stand now emerging as the most advanced section of the project.
Fresh footage shows construction moving upwards across the site, with further acceleration expected as the 2028/29 opening target draws closer.
West Stand progress continues ahead of a busy winter at Power Court
The latest footage filmed over the bank holiday weekend shows another week of steady progress at Luton’s new 25,000-capacity home.
One of the biggest milestones is the completion of the main sewage works, allowing temporary infrastructure to be removed while underground pipework has now been installed.
The piling rig has also completed its current work and left the site, marking another important step as construction moves increasingly towards the main stadium structure.
The West Stand remains the most advanced part of the development, with substantial ground-floor work now visible alongside columns rising towards the second floor.
It is also the most complicated section of the stadium internally, with the changing rooms, media facilities and players' tunnel all located within it. That means it is expected to be one of the final areas to reach full completion despite currently leading the way structurally.
The South Stand is beginning to show its external walls, while the North and East Stands are also increasing in size as work progresses around all four sides of the site.
Preparations are also being made for the installation of a tower crane, while new drainage infrastructure has appeared across the development.
With the project still targeting the 2028/29 season, the expectation is that the pace of construction will increase significantly as Power Court heads into the winter months.

The Power Court project is moving beyond the groundwork phase, and the West Stand is now giving fans a much better idea of what the finished stadium will look like.
There is still plenty to do, but seeing multiple stands rising at once should make their move from Kenilworth Road in a few years feel more real for Luton fans.
If construction accelerates as expected through the winter, the transformation from building site to 25,000-capacity stadium could become particularly striking over the next few months.
