Manchester City have confirmed plans to hold an open-top bus parade at the end of the season on Bank Holiday Monday.

The parade will be celebrating the achievements of the men's, women's and academy teams during the 2025/26 season, as well as paying tribute to the departing Pep Guardiola.

Manchester City open-top bus parade plans

Manchester City's open-top bus parade will be held on Bank Holiday Monday (May 25), the day after the end of the 2025/26 Premier League season.

The parade is set to begin its course in the Northern Quarter of Manchester city centre before making its way to the Co-op Live for an ‘After Party', allowing fans to join in the celebrations along the parade route or buy tickets to attend the ‘After Party'.

The route will commence at 4pm, with a kick-off moment involving all the teams before the buses will set off down Newton Street towards Ancoats at around 5pm.

The parade will then make its way down Great Ancoats Street before turning onto Pollard Street and then continuing on to the Ashton New Road, with the bus celebrations then coming to a close outside the Etihad Stadium at the Colin Bell Stand Reception.

However, the club have confirmed that there will be an extended last entry time for the ‘After Party' at Co-op Live, with fans able to enter the arena up until 6pm.

Players will then arrive at 6:30pm, with the event anticipated to continue until an expected close at 8pm.

The ‘After Party' will feature live music and entertainment, while players from both the men's and women's team, as well as some select special guests, will be interviewed throughout the night.

Special guests include former captain Fernandinho, Oasis icon Noel Gallagher and famous Stockport band, Blossoms, while special performances by Doves, Alex Spencer, Sam Divine and Mike Joyce.

These plans are not only intended to celebrate the achievements of the men's, women's and academy teams – including lifting the Carabao Cup, FA Cup, the Women's Super League title and FA Youth Cup – but also to pay tribute to the departing Guardiola.

The legendary manager has recently confirmed that he will leave the club after ten years in charge, with Guardiola's final match set to take place a day before the open-top bus parade – when Manchester City face Aston Villa.

Guardiola leaves the club having secured 20 trophies during his 10 years as manager, including six Premier League's and their first-ever Champions League, which was part of a famous treble-winning season.

FGG Says: Fitting farewell for Guardiola

Open-top bus parades are usually moments full of joy as team success is celebrated, and while that will be the case on Monday, it is also sure to be an unusually emotional day for Manchester City fans.

The parade will serve as one of Guardiola's final moments as Man City manager, bringing an end to a glittering 10-year stay at the Etihad Stadium, and the farewell is sure to be a sad day for fans of the club.

However, these huge planned celebrations certainly make for a fitting farewell for Guardiola, who deserves all the love for what he has achieved with Manchester City during his time as manager.
