Work has begun on the redevelopment of a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel at Sheffield United’s home stadium, Bramall Lane.
Guests are expected to be welcomed to the hotel from late summer 2024.

What is included in the hotel?
The 155-room hotel includes a penthouse suite, a fitness centre, and events space for up to 300 guests. Sheffield United hope that it will provide local fans and visitors with an opportunity to gather in the hotel’s lounge bar, while also using the events facilities.
Richard Farrar, managing director of hotel management company Leaf Hospitality, said: “We are pleased to embark on this exciting project at Bramall Lane on behalf the club.
“The DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City conversion will elevate the hospitality experience for visitors and fans alike.”
Sheffield United look to ‘enhance the matchday experience’
The project will create 100 new jobs and provide a boost to the local economy. When completed, the hotel will become the third Hilton branded property in the S2 area.

When completed, DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City will join DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield Park and Hampton by Hilton Sheffield as the third Hilton branded property in the area.
