New images have been released as building work nears completion at the Everton new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock. Reporters from various publications were granted access to the stadium to take a walk around with the final completion date still set for the end of 2024.
The images show solid progress since the last update with thousands of blue seats now installed across all stands of the stadium, including the imperious South Stand which is set to be one of the steepest terraces in world football. Architects have taken inspiration from Borussia Dortmund's ‘Yellow Wall' and it is the part of the stadium that Evertonians are most excited to see.
Thousands of the 13,000 seats that will be housed in the South Stand are now installed, while barrel clad roofing has been installed on the West Stand. Huge glass windows are being fitted on the exterior of the stadium and a scoreboard is already up on the inside which makes it easier to visualise the finished product.
There is still plenty of work to do, though. The pitch isn't any closer to being installed with the centre of the ground still effectively a building site. There is a large crane operating on pitch-level so it appears that the new turf will be the last thing that is installed before Everton kick a ball at the stadium at the beginning of the 2025/26 season.

Fans respond to Everton new Stadium images
The release of the new images has sparked excitement from Evertonians who are perhaps in need of something to look forward to after several disappointing seasons on the pitch and point deductions off it. One of them posted on social media:
“I’ve had the privilege of being inside the new Everton Stadium, make no mistake it’s impressive and will be an iconic venue for not only Everton games but for many major events, it’s tremendous.”
Another fan said: “I love how it’s not just the usual bowl, atmosphere is gonna be sick in it.”
Opposition fans weren't so sure after seeing the images. One person posted: “Not all that impressed with what this looks like inside. Had the chance to build something incredible like Spurs have but they’ve just gone for a two-tiered bowl.”
A Wolves fan added: “This is exactly why I wouldn’t wanna move from Molineux or see it become some generic bowl.”
