Wrexham's new Kop Stand continues to take shape at the Racecourse Ground, with the latest footage showing work progressing across the upper levels.

While there have been no major structural changes since the previous update, several smaller jobs are helping move the £70 million revamp towards its next stage.

Top-floor panel installation leads latest Kop Stand update

The latest aerial footage shows workers continuing with the internal and structural work, including the installation of orange supporting steel sections inside the stand.

Some minor concreting also remains to be completed in one of the corners, while attention has shifted towards the top floor where new panels are being fitted and secured into place.

There are currently no major lifts or significant changes to the roof truss, with the overall structure looking broadly similar to the previous update.

The pitch also remains in excellent condition as work continues around it, with the site maintaining a steady level of activity despite the lack of a major visual development this week.

The latest update suggests the project is now waiting for the next significant phase of construction, with further progress expected when the larger structural elements begin to move into place.

FGG says: Another step towards the finished Kop

It may not be the most dramatic update, but the continued work on the top floor shows the Kop redevelopment is steadily moving towards completion.

The next major structural phase should provide another noticeable change to the Racecourse Ground.
