Tottenham Hotspur are currently embarking on one of their most important pre-seasons in recent memory after a disappointing campaign last season. After starting the season full of hope and enthusiasm, things quickly turned sour under Antonio Conte and the Italian was sacked from the club in March.
In the end, Spurs slumped to an 8th-placed finish in the Premier League which means they have no European football to look forward to this season. While this is obviously disappointing from a financial and competitive point of view, the biggest worry in relation to the lack of European football is the impact it will have on Harry Kane.
The England striker still managed to score 30 league goals last season and understandably wants to be playing Champions League football and competing for trophies. With one year left on his current deal, the 29-year-old may well depart the club this summer which would leave Ange Postecoglou without his the club's star man as he starts his rebuild.
As things stand, Kane is still a Spurs player though which means fans can look forward to watching him in a Spurs shirt this summer for the club's pre-season friendlies. With the players due back in training next week, here is everything you need to know about Tottenham's summer schedule.

How to watch Tottenham's pre-season matches
To be able to watch all four of Tottenham's games this pre-season, supporters will have to subscribe to SPURSPLAY. Launched last year, SPURSPLAY is Tottenham's in-house video service where subscribers are able to watch full-game replays, academy matches and original documentaries. Most importantly, though, SPURSPLAY subscribers also get exclusive access to the club's pre-season friendlies.
The subscription cost for SPURSPLAY is £45 per year with no monthly subscription plan available at the moment. This means that if you sign up for the service then you have to commit to it for a 12-month period without any escape route. If you are a season ticket holder at the club then will be able to get a £10 discount on this price.
Once you have subscribed to SPURSPLAY, you will be able to stream all of the pre-season matches on either the official Spurs website or via the official Spurs app on your mobile device and/or tablet.
