We are fast approaching the end of the group stage at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the first knockout round scheduled to begin on Sunday, 28 June.

The final bracket for the tournament is beginning to take shape, which is having an impact on ticket prices across the board, with demand increasing for some matches and decreasing for others.

Below, we run through the ticket options available to fans for the round of 32.

How to get World Cup round of 32 tickets

Last-Minute Sales Phase

Although it is only just becoming clear which teams will face each other in the round of 32, the bulk of tickets for these games were allocated to supporters during the initial World Cup ticket ballots that have been ongoing since the end of 2025.

The current Last-Minute Sales Phase is still live, though, and there are tickets for some round of 32 fixtures still available. However, tickets are not going to come cheaply.

Official prices for the round of 32 range from $60 to $1050. However, at present, the cheapest ticket available for any round of 32 match is $570 for Switzerland's match against a currently unknown third-placed team in Vancouver.

The most expensive ticket still on sale for a round of 32 match is worth $930, and that's for the match between South Africa and Canada in Los Angeles.

Official resale platform

FIFA's official resale platform is also live, which is where supporters can list any unwanted tickets to other fans. Controversially, there is no cap on what price supporters can list their tickets for, leading to some World Cup final tickets being listed for over $1 million.

At present, there are tickets available for most round of 32 matches on the resale platform, but none of them are priced at face value. The cheapest tickets are all over $1,000, but it is worth re-checking closer to each match to see if prices drop.

Unofficial resale platforms

With FIFA effectively turning a blind eye to ticket touting on their official resale platform, many fans are turning to unofficial resale websites to try and snag round of 32 World Cup tickets.

While such websites do not offer the same security guarantees, some are trustworthy and offer personal guarantees if supporters are denied entry to any of the host stadiums in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

It is always worth doing some due diligence before using a third-party resale platform, and we recently reviewed two of the biggest websites to help give FGG readers peace of mind before purchasing.

At the time of writing, the cheapest round of 32 World Cup ticket available on Seatpick is worth £410, for South Africa vs Canada, which is significantly cheaper than what fans can find through FIFA's official ticket portal.
