The Jurgen Klopp era will be remembered fondly by all Liverpool fans who lived through it, but particularly match-going Reds who were able to experience some of the best nights in the club's history.
The Klopp era wasn't all about the German boss, but also about the talented group of players that were acquired during Klopp's tenure at Anfield.
While Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk are the two names that immediately spring to mind, there was also Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Jordan Henderson, Andy Robertson and a host of other names who have etched their name into Liverpool folklore.
Today, we're going to focus on Firmino, and specifically, the chant that Liverpool fans created for him. Let's take a look.
Roberto Firmino chant, lyrics and tune
The Roberto Firmino chant is sung to the tune of a popular football anthem in South America. The lyrics to the Firmino version are as follows:
There's something that the Kop want you to know,
The best in the world, his name is Bobby Firmino,
Our number nine,
Give him the ball, and he'll score every time,
Si Senor,
Give the ball to Bobby, and he will score

The Roberto Firmino chant was created by a group of Liverpool supporters on a European away trip in Belgrade in 2018. The fans in question had taken inspiration from a video of River Plate fans singing their version of the chant during the 2015 Copa Libertadores final.
While Liverpool fans aren't known for ‘stealing' chants from other British clubs, there is less of a stigma attached to taking from overseas clubs.
The Firmino chant very quickly took off and became a Kop classic almost instantly. The player himself fell in love with the tune, too, and even had the words ‘Si Senor' stitched into his boots during the 2019/20 season.
In an interview, while he was still a Liverpool player, Firmino spoke glowingly about the chant. He said:
“It’s cool. The rhythm of the song is a little Latin, a little La Bombonera. It is very motivating. For those on the pitch, it’s good to hear the fans singing their name, their music. It motivates us to do our best on the pitch and help the team.”

FGG says: One of the best chants sung by an English club
Yes, yes, Liverpool fans didn't necessarily ‘create' this football chant, but they are the rightful owners of it in English football. There is a lot to be said about bringing South American football culture over to England, and the Liverpool fans who created this version during that trip to Belgrade deserve huge credit. The player wasn't bad, either, was he?
