Manchester United fans are split after discovering the club have made the decision to halve their asking price for Anthony Elanga.
The Sweden international has agreed to a deal to join rival Premier League club, Nottingham Forrest, for a deal thought to be worth around £20 million.
Some United fans feel it is a good deal for a player who has not reached his full potential since graduating from the academy, while others feel they could get more money for a player who could still become a star in the Premier League.
55 apps is no mean feat for a United academy graduate.
Anthony Elanga can be proud of his nine years at the club, and he leaves with one of the best chants in recent history.
£15m should come very handy as Erik ten Hag eyes a striker and midfielder.pic.twitter.com/iw53wiDaX1

Indeed, a player who has made 55 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils at only the age of 21 years old is an impressive stat.
Anthony Elanga – little chance of Man United impact?
However, he was limited to making substitute appearances, with his last game for United coming in the 7-0 defeat by arch-rivals Liverpool at Anfield. And even at that it was only a brief cameo appearance.

A player who spent time at Championship club Sunderland and looked like he was going to be a part of Eric ten Hag's long-term plans, has now been shipped out to make way for other incomings to Old Trafford.
Some fans welcome the funds he has generated to improve the side, and help the rebuild that is going on at Manchester United this summer, while others have questioned why he is going for so little, citing the recent saga involving the sale of the club as a reason.
Will Elanga become a hit at Nottingham Forrest?
Why halved it there are 12 clubs interested and we can easily get more than that like James garner potential in them we can get more but cause we are desperate for money unfortunately #GlazersOut

£10m is a more fair and accurate price tbf. We need the sales income to spend more so we’ll need to compromise a little here and there.
