Aberdeen fans unhappy with Miovski disallowed goal
Aberdeen fans displayed an “End VAR” banner following the controversial decision to disallow Bojan Miovski’s goal for the Dons against Livingston last weekend. The goal came from a set-piece from out wide, which was originally saved, but Miovski then acrobatically put Aberdeen ahead.
However, it was then chalked off by the officials, as Miovski was adjudged to have been interrupting play from an offside position in the build-up. Aberdeen supporters were unhappy that the officials operating the monitors had accepted that a guess had been made in a referees meeting.
“End VAR” banner revealed
The game against Livingston finished 0-0, prompting Aberdeen fans to reveal the “End VAR” banner ahead of their match against Dundee at Pittodrie.
Aberdeen now sit 9th in the league, with a Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic coming up on Saturday, April 20.
