Arsenal plan to upgrade the Emirates Stadium not rebuild it
Arsenal have released an update on the future of the Emirates Stadium during the latest Arsenal Advisory Board meeting, held on September 24th.
The club confirmed there will not be a major-scale masterplan for the stadium, instead committing to its continued evolution through a series of upgrades.
Much of the focus will be on behind-the-scenes facilities, while Arsenal will also continue improving hospitality and retail areas and the overall visitor experience.
The club highlighted work already completed with catering partner Legends, alongside the introduction of safe standing in the Clock End this season and plans to introduce it in the North Bank next season.
Arsenal also confirmed that retail growth and transformation remains a strategic priority as the club looks to improve the Emirates without undertaking a huge redevelopment project.

FGG says: Emirates Stadium upgrades offer Arsenal more practical way forward
Arsenal's decision provides clarity over the future of the Emirates, with the club opting to improve the stadium gradually rather than embark on another huge construction project.
Continued investment in facilities, hospitality, retail and supporter areas should allow Arsenal to modernise the matchday experience while keeping the focus on making better use of the stadium they already have.
