Real Madrid are making the most of the summer break by introducing another round of improvements at the Bernabeu.
The latest work focuses on enhancing the stadium's branding and matchday experience ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
How Real Madrid are improving the Bernabeu for the 2026/27 season
Real Madrid are carrying out further upgrades to the Bernabeu this summer as the club puts the finishing touches to its landmark stadium redevelopment.
The most eye-catching change will see a large “Bernabeu” sign installed on the Paseo de la Castellana facade, reflecting the club's decision to adopt the shorter stadium name and strengthen its global branding.
The new signage is expected to be in place before Real Madrid return home for their first LaLiga fixture of the season on 26th August.
Further branding improvements are also planned around Plaza de Sagrados Corazones, where the stadium's name and the club crest will be prominently displayed.

Inside the stadium, Real Madrid are expanding the LED display system by installing new advertising and multimedia boards around the third tier, enhancing the matchday presentation for supporters.
The work follows recent testing of the Bernabeu's external lighting system and represents another phase of refinements after the completion of the stadium's major redevelopment.
While some supporters have questioned the decision to shorten the stadium's name by dropping “Santiago”, the club believes the simpler Bernabeu branding will strengthen its international identity as both a football venue and entertainment destination.
FGG says: Fine-tuning an iconic stadium
The biggest construction work may now be complete, but Real Madrid are showing there is always room for refinement.
These latest upgrades are less about redevelopment and more about maximising the Bernabeu's commercial appeal and supporter experience.
The changes are relatively modest compared to the transformation of recent years, but they underline Real Madrid's determination to keep one of football's most iconic stadiums at the forefront of the modern game.
