Fans gather at Parkhead to continue Celtic title celebrations
The party didn't end at Rugby Park in Kilmarnock, however, as thousands of Celtic fans made their way to Celtic Park after the final whistle to celebrate. They waited for the Celtic bus to get back from Kilmarnock and then showed their appreciation to the players and staff who then joined in with the celebrations.
Brendan Rodgers then grabbed a microphone and gave a speech to the thousands of Celtic fans who had made their way to Celtic Park. He said:
“I stood here a year ago and there were about 200 people here. I said I'd see you back here in May. We have a few more than 200 here now, fantastic.”
Rodgers went on to say that the Celtic players and staff “live for you” in reference to the fans and added that he hoped the fans were “proud” of the players this season.

Celtic title celebrations extend to Albania
In bizarre scenes, some Celtic fans went over to Albania to enjoy the title celebrations at the request of the former Albanian President, Ilir Meta. Meta became a Celtic fan back in the 1970s when a match between Celtic and Albanian side, Partizani Tirana, was televised in his homeland.
He has followed the Hoops ever since and wanted to enjoy the title win with a couple of Celtic fans from Scotland. A post on Meta's official X account read: “Our friends from Scotland have arrived at the Freedom Party's headquarters to watch today's match together. We are one big family! Hail Hail!”
