Crystal Palace have issued an important matchday reminder to supporters ahead of Thursday's Europa League meeting with Hoffenheim.

Fans will need to plan their arrival carefully, with turnstiles opening later than usual because of the early evening kick-off and surrounding road closures.

Selhurst Park will open turnstiles later than expected vs Hoffenheim

Palace have confirmed that turnstiles at Selhurst Park will not open until 16:15pm (GMT) on Thursday 5th November, around 90 minutes before the scheduled 17:45pm kick-off.

The Premier League side explained that the later opening time is linked to the early start, nearby road closures and the usual school and business closing times.

Supporters who arrive earlier than 16:15pm will therefore be unable to enter the stadium, although those attending through a Premium Matchday Experience will retain access to their lounges two hours before kick-off.

Palace expect many supporters to arrive later than they would for a typical evening fixture and have encouraged anyone able to do so to arrive early once access becomes available.

The club's fanzone will also open at 16:15pm, giving fans a small opportunity to enjoy the pre-match atmosphere around Selhurst Park before the European fixture.

FGG says: Palace fans should plan ahead for Hoffenheim visit

The 90-minute window between turnstiles opening and kick-off is relatively short, particularly for a European fixture likely to attract a busy crowd.

Supporters should avoid arriving too early, but those travelling locally would be wise to get to the area in good time and head towards the fanzone once it opens.

A little planning should help minimise queues and ensure fans do not miss the build-up to an important night at Selhurst Park.
