Darmstadt ultra confronts players after humiliating home defeat

A Darmstadt ultra confronted the players after the German club’s 6-0 loss at home to Augsburg in the Bundesliga.

Darmstadt currently sit bottom of the Bundesliga on 13 points, winning only two games this season.

“The fans message has been received loud and clear” – Darmstadt ultra lambasts players after 6-0 defeat

The Darmstadt fan came out of the Jonathan-Heimes-stand and onto the pitch to lambast the players who grouped themselves together on that side of the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor.

The commentator on the clip below said: “It’s an interesting tradition they have. A few home truths being told here.”

“Die Lillien” have not won a home Bundesliga match since October 1, 2023, leaving the ultras based in the Jonathan-Heimes-stand increasingly frustrated with what is turning out to be a torrid season for the club.

As the ultra departed the pitch, he was greeted by a round of applause by the Darmstadt fans behind the goal.

The commentator concluded: “The fans message has been received loud and clear,”

Who do Darmstadt play next?

It doesn’t get much easier for Darmstadt. Next up, they face RB Leipzig away before taking on the 32-time Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich at home.
