Denmark have had a good day at Euro 2024 both on and off the pitch. On it, they were the better team against England and secured a valuable point towards qualification for the knockout stages. Off it, they managed to find the perfect balance between creating an atmosphere and engaging in some light-hearted fun with England fans.

So far it has been a tournament centred largely around positive fan behaviour. Earlier in the tournament, culinary jibes were used by Albanian fans when they were caught snapping strands of spaghetti in front of Italian supporters before their group stage clash. Austria also used this theme when they snapped baguettes in front of French fans.
Now, Denmark fans have got in on the action but this time they have taken aim at a British drinking staple rather than food. On their way to the match in Frankfurt on Thursday evening, Denmark fans were caught singing about teabags as seen below.

“You can shove your f*cking tea bags up your arse…” ??☕️

Denmark fans taunt England fans about football coming home
Since Euro 1996, England fans have been singing about ‘football coming home'. After 28 years, it has become a bit of a stick to beat England fans with and it was Denmark's turn on Thursday evening.
“England, England, it’s never coming home!” More then 10,000 Denmark fans march through centre of Frankfurt ahead of tonight’s game. Brilliant scenes. England fans on the pavement applauding them. ? pic.twitter.com/PzA87SP4sn
