England's kit launch was mouth-watering, with Nike producing yet another stunning strip for the England team ahead of Euro 2024.
The home shirt is predominantly white, as is to be expected, but also features a sleek navy collar, as well as navy stripes located both on the sleeves and along the side of the shirt.
Almost the direct inverse of the home kit already described, the away strip features an almost entirely navy top, although the Three Lions badge and Nike logo are both illuminated in a sophisticated gold colour.
They are both truly stunning and despite a lofty price tag, there will still likely be plenty of demand from the entire nation for them this summer. Gareth Southgate's side will have their first match against Serbia on June 16, so make sure you have your shirt in time for the big game!
Too pricey: fan reaction to the new kits
Although the vast majority of supporters are in agreement that the new shirts look incredible, there is also a number of supporters who believe that the kits are simply too expensive for them to buy. With prices starting at £85 for an adult shirt, it is hard to disagree with that suggestion.
One supporter took to X, formerly Twitter, to say: “At £125 for match quality and £85 for replica I think I'll give it a miss. How can they justify these prices? What happened to football being for the common man?”
While another added: “Screwed yourselves over with the pricing, usually buy one for me and my two boys…. Not this time you’ve priced us out.”
Rising prices in football, whether that be for tickets, broadcasting or indeed kits has become a massive issue within the sport, with many fans unable to keep up with previous traditions due to increasing costs. The launch of England's Euro 2024 kits, while the shirts are beautiful, appears to have highlighted that once again.
