Exeter City have taken fan engagement to a whole new level this morning by offering supporters the option to vote for the club's third kit for the 2024/25 season. The club have decided on two potential designs but are giving supporters the ability to pick which one they would like to see their team wear for the next two seasons.
Taking to social media, the club's Supporters Trust posted the following message:
“Choose your Adidas Third Shirt for the 2024/25 Season! Vote for one of these gorgeous options: Option A- Black and Gold with White Trim Option B- White with Red Trim”
To be eligible to vote on the new kit, you need to be an Exeter Supporters Trust member to prevent fans from other clubs from voting on the kit. Both kits are very different and fans have until midnight on Sunday 31st March to cast their vote before the winner is announced.
Option A is a black shirt with a white collar with white shorts and white socks while option B is a white shirt with red sleeves with a gold trim on the collar. Option B is inspired by their promotion-winning shirt from the 2008 playoffs which makes it the favourite to win the vote due to nostalgia.

Exeter City new kits: What the fans are saying
The decision to offer fans the option to vote on the new kit design has gone down well with fans across social media. Exeter City supporters are also delighted with the options that have been presented to them. One fan said: “I'll go for option C – make one our away shirt and make the other the 3rd shirt as they are both class.”
Other fans were split. One said: “Black with gold trim all the way. Beautiful. I like the nod to the playoff final win in option B but the black wins it for me.” A third added: “White one all day. Not sure about the gold.”
Fans from other clubs even got in on the debate. One Coventry fan chimed in: “Cov fan looking in, and that Black/White/Gold option is quality.”
