Ex-Reds CEO Peter Moore has revealed he pushed for two key changes during the redevelopment of the Anfield Road Stand, but ultimately lost both battles.
One of those involved relocating away supporters higher up in the stand, rather than keeping them in a more traditional lower-tier position.
The second centred around ticket allocation, with Moore keen for the additional seats to be prioritised for local fans rather than corporate hospitality.
However, following his departure from Liverpool FC before the project was completed, those plans never came to fruition, with a significant portion of the new capacity now used for premium and corporate offerings.
