Michael Olise produced a sensational late performance as France came from behind to beat Belgium 4-1 in the UEFA Nations League A.
The Bayern Munich star's two goals and assist prompted supporters at the Stade de France to make their Ballon d'Or feelings very clear.

France looked in danger of dropping points when Dodi Lukebakio put Belgium ahead, but Desire Doue levelled before Olise helped turn the game completely on its head.
The 24-year-old first supplied Rayan Cherki for France's second before scoring twice himself, both goals coming from Doue assists as Zinedine Zidane's side ran riot in the closing stages.
Olise's latest heroics also saw him make history.
He has now registered ten assists for France in 2026, the most by any player for the national team in a calendar year, while he is the first player to be directly involved in a goal in each of his first four matches under Zidane.
Overall, Olise has been directly involved in 17 goals across 16 appearances for France in 2026, while his international record now stands at 11 goals and 12 assists from 29 matches.
It was little surprise, then, that the Stade de France erupted into a chant of “Olise Ballon d'Or!” once the Bayern star had completed his latest masterclass.
Asked about the supporters' demand afterwards, Olise could only smile and say: “I have nothing to say about that.” Zidane was similarly reluctant to fuel the discussion, simply describing his player's performances as “extraordinary”.
FGG says: France fans appear to have made their Ballon d'Or choice
There are still a few weeks before the next Ballon d'Or is decided, but France's supporters appear to have delivered a pretty emphatic verdict on who they want leading the charge.
Olise faces competition from his own teammates, most notably Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe, but his extraordinary start to life under Zidane has suddenly made him a genuine part of the conversation.
The fact that the chant came from the Stade de France, with two of his biggest French rivals also in contention, makes it particularly significant.
Olise may not want to discuss the Ballon d'Or just yet, but his performances are making it increasingly difficult for everyone else to ignore him.
