Harry Maguire may not have made England's 2026 World Cup squad, but supporters travelling to New York will still have the chance to see the Manchester United defender during the tournament.

The former England centre-back is set to appear at a special fan event in Times Square, giving supporters the opportunity to meet him, grab an autograph and take photographs.

England fans can meet Man Utd star Harry Maguire in New York on June 18th

Maguire will appear at Pele Soccer in Times Square on June 18th at 5pm local time as part of a memorabilia and fan engagement event organised by MVPs.

The one-night-only appearance, which comes a day after the Three Lions' opener against Croatia in Dallas, offers several ticket options for supporters hoping to meet the defender.

A standard autograph or photo package is priced at £151.88, while upgraded packages include signed prints or Manchester United shirts.

The most expensive option is a VIP package costing £379.72, which includes queue-jump access and a personalised inscription on a 2026 Manchester United shirt.

The event takes place just as thousands of England supporters are expected to be in the New York and New Jersey area ahead of their final Group L fixture against Panama on June 27th.

Maguire remains one of England's most recognisable players despite missing out on Thomas Tuchel's squad for the tournament.

For supporters who have spent years watching Maguire represent England at major tournaments, there's no doubt many would prefer to be seeing him in North America as part of the squad rather than signing autographs in Times Square.

Maguire has often divided opinion at club level, but his record for England speaks for itself, and he has been a key figure in some of the national team's most successful tournament runs in recent history.

That said, for England fans already heading to New York, it's a rare opportunity to meet one of the country's most experienced internationals during the World Cup itself.

Whether many supporters fancy paying upwards of £150 for the privilege is another question entirely.
