Supporters have been urged to plan ahead before travelling to Hill Dickinson Stadium for Friday night's Premier League meeting between Everton and Coventry City.
Ongoing engineering works on Merseyrail services could cause disruption for some supporters, with the club's home fixture kicking off at 8pm.
Everton vs Coventry facing travel disruption on Friday night
Evertonians travelling from the south of Liverpool have been warned to allow extra time for their journeys due to planned engineering works on the Merseyrail network.
The month-long project, which is scheduled to finish this weekend, has involved replacement bus services operating between Hunts Cross and Moorfields. There is no rail replacement bus stop at Liverpool Central.
The £3.5m programme is focused on strengthening and waterproofing four tunnels carrying Northern Line services into Liverpool from the south, helping prevent water from affecting the electrified third rail and reducing the risk of power failures and unplanned closures.
New track feeder switches are also being installed, allowing engineers to isolate smaller sections of the railway remotely and carry out repairs more quickly.
Network Rail has confirmed that the work is progressing smoothly and is expected to finish on schedule, with services due to return to normal from Saturday 7th November.
Importantly, trains will continue to operate as normal through Sandhills, the nearest station to Hill Dickinson Stadium, with services also running towards Southport, Ormskirk and Headbolt Lane.
A 15-minute service will operate before and after Friday's match across all lines.

FGG says: Fans should check their routes before heading to Hill Dickinson Stadium
While Sandhills services are unaffected, supporters travelling from further south should not assume their usual journey will be running as normal.
Allowing extra time and checking the latest service information is sensible, particularly for an evening kick-off.
