Away days are great, and there are now a whole host of apps out there for supporters to use that can enhance that experience even further.
The FanHub away day app is one of those platforms in question, but what exactly is it? And how can you take advantage of it to win prizes? We will explain all in the following article.

How does FanHub work?
Contents
At its core, FanHub is an app that rewards a supporter's loyalty to any one club. The more of your favourite team's fixtures you attend, the quicker you rack up these so-called loyalty points (we will discuss this aspect in greater detail later on).
The platform works by allowing users to check in at games while they are thereโthe entire app is based on this checking-in feature.
By doing so, supporters can track their history of grounds visited and the number of goals they have seen scored – you can even add your friends and keep track of their away-day adventures too.

As alluded to above, the real incentive for supporters to use the app is the reward points you can earn. These are mostly accumulated through the following three methods:
- Checking in at live games
- Following your favourite team
- Correctly predicting starting lineups
Users online have previously stated that supporters are rewarded with approximately 200 points per game they attend, although that figure is subject to change.
Essentially then, FanHub will give you points for doing the things that you will already be doing on a weekly basis whilst supporting your team.
What can you get with FanHub points?
Whilst you can redeem the points for a variety of things, including a pint at selected grounds for around 400 points, the majority of rewards are often linked to your favourite club.
In most cases, these are:
- Merchandise
- Tickets
- Experience days
- Discounts
For example, you could use your points to get youse;lf a signed shirt from one of your favourite players, or, you could opt to trade them for a stadium tour at your team's home ground.
Each of these will naturally require a different number of points to redeem, and ultimately, it will be down to you to decide which of them represents the best value for you.

It is a growing product with more and more fans deciding to make use of the platform every day. Many supporters of an EFL club will already be aware of their services thanks to the app sponsoring a handful of teams across the three divisions, including the likes of Derby County and Bristol Rovers, a decision which has helped increase the platform's popularity in the sport.
FanHub is versatile – it can be used by home and away fans alike for a variety of purposes, and it is one of the only platforms available that rewards supporters directly for following their team.
If you are a match-going fan, FanHub is certainly an app worth considering.
