Newcastle have been drawn to play Qarabag in the Champions League playoff round, and the first leg is pencilled in for Wednesday, 18 February in Baku.

The match in Baku will take place at the Tofiq Bahramov Respublika Stadionu, a stadium that is effectively reserved now for Qarabag's European adventures.

With a capacity of 31,090, the stadium is far better equipped to deal with the demand and prestige of a Champions League knockout tie than Qarabag's normal home, the Azersun Arena, which has a capacity of less than 6,000.

If you are looking for tickets for the match between Qarabag and Newcastle in Baku, we have you covered below.

Qarabag vs Newcastle tickets: Key information

Home tickets

Qarabag have not publicly released any ticket details as of yet, but there will almost certainly be a geoblock in place to prevent anybody from the United Kingdom from purchasing tickets.

Away tickets

Newcastle have been given an allocation of 1,998 tickets for the match against Qarabag. The travelling Magpies are set to be placed in the southeast corner of the stadium, specifically in blocks 26-28. Although the stadium is just one giant tier all the way around, the running track that wraps around the pitch means that the view from the away end isn't great.

The application process for these tickets will begin on Tuesday, 3 February at 14:00 UK time. Tickets will be sold in a staggered way, where supporters with the most loyalty points are given the longest opportunity to purchase.

Although it will be difficult for Newcastle fans to get to Baku, the club fully expects to sell out this allocation.

Resale tickets

If you can't get tickets via traditional methods, then your next best bet is to try your luck on third-party ticket resale websites. Although these websites are not as secure as official sellers, they are worth considering if you are desperate for a ticket and prepared to pay over the odds.
