Man Utd tickets

Manchester United have been allocated 14,770 tickets for the Europa League final, and these tickets were actually listed for sale two days before their semi-final second leg with Athletic Bilbao.

The club guaranteed that all season ticket holders who had attended one or more European away match over the past three seasons would get a ticket. All remaining tickets would be distributed via a random ballot. To be eligible for the ballot, you had to be a season ticket holder at Old Trafford, have been to all ten home cup matches this season, and have held your season ticket for ten or more years.

This ballot was completed immediately after Man Utd's place in the final was confirmed on Thursday night, and the results were swiftly communicated to all successful applicants.

Ticket prices for Man Utd fans for the Europa League final:

  • Category 1: €240
  • Category 2: €160
  • Category 3: €65
  • Category 4: €40

Tottenham tickets

Tottenham have also been allocated 14,770 tickets for the Europa League final, and they opened up their ballot to supporters on Tuesday, 6 May, due to the quick turnaround between their semi-final second leg and the final.

Only season ticket holders were able to apply for the ballot, and all successful applicants have now been notified by the club. It is estimated that only season ticket holders with 200 or more loyalty points were successful in getting tickets for the match.

The issue for all ticket-holders on both sides is finding a way to get to Bilbao for the final. Flight and hotel prices have skyrocketed this week, which has left fans searching for alternative routes to Bilbao in the hope of snagging a bargain.

Tickets through UEFA

The official ballot for Europa League final tickets through UEFA has been and gone, with the governing body shutting their application window on Friday, 11 April.

All applicants who applied for tickets regardless of who the finalists are have now been notified of whether they have been successful or not. Once the finalists are confirmed, another ballot will run for supporters who specified that they would only be interested in tickets if their team made the final.

These results will be communicated shortly after the semi-finals are completed.

Hospitality

Incredibly, all hospitality packages for the Europa League final are already sold out.

Third-party websites

Based on how high Man Utd have set the criteria for ticket eligibility, there are going to be thousands of fans disappointed, regardless of which teams qualify for the final.

As a result, the third-party market is anticipated to become very busy ahead of the final, and if you have deep pockets, this is going to be your best route to the Estadio San Mames.

When buying tickets from third-party resale websites, we urge you to exercise caution. Scams are relatively common on these types of websites, particularly for big events such as the Europa League final.

We recently reviewed two of the biggest ticket resale websites to give FGG readers peace of mind:

Some tickets for the Europa League final in the neutral sections have already appeared on LiveFootballTickets. At the time of writing, the cheapest ticket for the final is an eye-watering £1,618.
