On Wednesday, 23 October, RB Leipzig will welcome Liverpool to the Red Bull Arena in the third round of fixtures in this year's Champions League campaign.
The Reds have won both of their opening two games in the tournament, including an away victory against AC Milan, and Liverpool fans in Leipzig will be hoping for another successful away trip this time around.
While there is no notable rivalry between the two sides, former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has recently been announced as the new Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull, which may add a little more needle to the fixture than usual.
For those who will be making the trip to Germany, this article will serve as your full guide to matchday in Leipzig.

Travelling Liverpool fans will be seated in the Southeast corner of the ground between sections C and D. This away stand occupies two tiers and is directly opposite the section in which the RB Leipzig ultras are housed, meaning that Reds supporters have a great opportunity to make their voices heard at the south of the stadium.
In general, it is an excellent away stand with great views and a good variety of both seated and standing tickets. Check out our full guide on the RB Leipzig away section before matchday to ensure you are prepared for the experience.

The Red Bull Arena is located just two miles away from the city centre, so for the more physically active Liverpool fans in Leipzig, walking to the ground from here is certainly an option and should take around 30 minutes or so.
However, if you would instead prefer to make use of the excellent public transport system in Germany, the tram may be the best choice. Head to the city's main railway station, Leipzig Hbf, and take tram lines 3,7, 8 or 15 – exiting the tram at the Sportforum stop.
This is around 0.3 miles away from the Red Bull Arena, which means that a mere eight-minute walk should see you arrive at the ground.
