Liverpool's victory over Everton in the Merseyside Derby on Sunday afternoon did more than strengthen their season.

It also saw them become the first club ever to reach a remarkable Premier League milestone.

Liverpool have now won at 60 different Premier League stadia

Thanks to their dramatic 2-1 win over the Toffees at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Liverpool have now won at 60 different stadia in Premier League history.

No other club has managed that.

The victory at Everton’s new home added another ground to a list that already includes some of English football’s most iconic venues, ranging from Old Trafford and Highbury to White Hart Lane and Goodison Park.

Liverpool’s record stretches all the way back to the beginning of the Premier League era in 1992 and covers generations of stadiums, including clubs that have long since left their old homes behind.

Among the grounds on the list are former venues such as Maine Road, The Dell and Roker Park, alongside newer grounds like Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The new record underlines both Liverpool’s longevity and consistency at the top level of English football.

FGG says: A quirky record but one that says a lot about Liverpool

This is one of those statistics that sounds slightly random at first, but actually says plenty about Liverpool as a club.

To win at 60 different Premier League stadiums, you need two things – longevity and success.

Liverpool have been a constant presence at the top end of the game for more than three decades, and have continued to win no matter how much English football has changed around them.

From old-school grounds like Highbury and the Baseball Ground to brand new arenas like Hill Dickinson Stadium, the Reds have found a way to win almost everywhere.
