There has arguably not been a more-important pre-season in Liverpool's recent history than the one this summer after what was the club's most disappointing season since Jurgen Klopp became the manager in October 2015. The Reds, who have enjoyed some tremendous seasons under the German, endured a poor campaign last season and slumped to a fifth-placed finish.
Thanks to a change in formation and shape, Liverpool ended the season strongly and Klopp will be keen to get his squad back together as soon as possible so they can work more on this new system. Along with a new system, the German will also want to get some fresh faces in through the door at Anfield in time for their pre-season tour.
So far, the only player the club have signed is former Brighton midfielder, Alexis Mac Allister. The Argentinian world cup midfielder is a welcome addition to the Liverpool midfield and fans will be eager to see how he fares in a red shirt this summer before the Premier League begins.
With just a few weeks to go until their pre-season fixture, here is everything you need to know about their summer schedule.
