Liverpool Pre-Season Tour Fixtures: Reds to play four matches in two countries

There has arguably not been a more-important pre-season in Liverpool's recent history than the one this summer after what was the club's most disappointing season since Jurgen Klopp became the manager in October 2015. The Reds, who have enjoyed some tremendous seasons under the German, endured a poor campaign last season and slumped to a fifth-placed finish.

Thanks to a change in formation and shape, Liverpool ended the season strongly and Klopp will be keen to get his squad back together as soon as possible so they can work more on this new system. Along with a new system, the German will also want to get some fresh faces in through the door at Anfield in time for their pre-season tour.

So far, the only player the club have signed is former Brighton midfielder, Alexis Mac Allister. The Argentinian world cup midfielder is a welcome addition to the Liverpool midfield and fans will be eager to see how he fares in a red shirt this summer before the Premier League begins.

With just a few weeks to go until their pre-season fixture, here is everything you need to know about their summer schedule.

Who are Liverpool playing in pre-season?

Perhaps in preparation for what will be a long season for the club given they will be playing in the Europa League next season, Liverpool only have four games planned this summer. They will play two games in Germany before travelling to Singapore for a couple of games, which means they are joining Manchester City on a pre-season tour of Asia.

Liverpol's full list of pre-season fixtures is as follows:

Kick-off times all UK

19/07/23 – Liverpool vs Karlsruher – 17:30, BBBank Wildpark, Karlsruhe

24/07/23 – Liverpool vs Furth – 12:00, Lincoln Financial Field

30/07/23 – Liverpool vs Leicester City – 10:00, The National Stadium, Singapore

02/08/23 – Liverpool vs Bayern Munich – 12:30, The National Stadium, Singapore

How to watch Liverpol's pre-season matches

All four of Liverpool's pre-season matches will be shown live on the club's television channel, LFCTV. The channel is available for anyone who has Sky and/or Virgin subscription, however, supporters will need to subscribe to the channel separately in order to be able to access it. The subscription fee for LFCTV is £7 per month and can be purchased via the Liverpool website.

If you don't have Sky or Virgin, then you are still able to watch Liverpool's pre-season matches via LFCTV Go. This is essentially the online version of LFCTV and can be accessed via the Liverpool website or mobile phone app. Through this service, you will be able to watch all of Liverpool's pre-season games on the go for either £4.99 a month or £49.99 for the year.

How to get tickets for Liverpool's pre-season matches

If you would rather be in the thick of the action and watch Liverpool's pre-season matches live at the stadium then tickets are still available for both of the games in Singapore. The match against Karlsruher is sold out, while the match against Furth is set to be played behind closed doors.
