After the greatest season in the club's history, Manchester City will need to refocus and re-energise ahead of a season where they will be the number one team to beat across Europe.
After securing the treble last term, Pep Guardiola is already looking for new recruits to ensure complacency doesn't become an issue amongst his squad. With the futures of Ilkay Gundogan, Bernardo Silva and Kyle Walker up in the air, City are looking to bring in midfielders with Mateo Kovacic all-but secured from Chelsea and a bid for Declan Rice imminent.
Due to the fact their season didn't finish until the middle of June, Guardiola has given his players some extra time off this summer meaning they will only play four pre-season matches before the Premier League begins at the start of August. Here is everything you need to know about Manchester City's pre-season schedule.

The cost of City Plus is just £2.99 per month and the subscription works on a rolling monthly basis meaning there is no contract involved. The final pre-season match of the season against Arsenal in the FA Community Shield will be broadcast live on ITV in the United Kingdom. This also means that fans will be able to stream the match via ITVX – the channel's exclusive streaming service.
