Dortmund fans take over Wembley Way

Wembley Stadium started to become extremely busy from around 4 p.m. onwards on Saturday, June 1, with thousands of fans from both teams arriving at the ground. @footballontnt posted on X.com (formerly Twitter) a flock of supporters arriving at the stadium three hours before the match with the caption, “Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid and Real Madrid fans have arrived on Wembley Way.”

Dortmund supporters travelled to the English capital in their numbers, and with less than two hours before kick-off, CBS Sports Golazo pundit Nico Cantor said: “I see many more Dortmund fans than Real Madrid fans,” while looking over Wembley Way.

Champions League final preview

Ancelotti’s team have not lost in the Champions League this campaign and are looking to record their 15th success in this competition. Dortmund last reached the final in 2013, when they lost 2-1 to Bayern Munich at Wembley. Madrid will be hoping that Dortmund’s bad luck in London continues this evening.
