Fresh footage from the Vitality Stadium has revealed significant progress across AFC Bournemouth's ambitious redevelopment project, with visible changes now emerging in multiple areas of the ground ahead of the 2026/27 season.

With the Cherries preparing for a historic European campaign, construction activity is beginning to reshape the club's long-term home.

Major changes now visible across the Vitality Stadium

The latest update shows new black seating now installed in the North Stand, while steelwork continues to rise behind both ends of the Main Stand as Bournemouth press ahead with new hospitality, office and media facilities.

Work has also started on the South East corner infill, with cladding removed and preparations underway for the structure that will eventually link into the club's future South Stand redevelopment.

Elsewhere, the relocated cycle route is nearing completion, while trenches for the new stadium perimeter and a 44-turnstile entrance system are now clearly visible around the site.

The footage also highlights changes to the club's hospitality offering, including plans for ‘The Garden' and a new sports bar named ‘2:21' in honour of James Hayter's famous hat-trick.

All of this forms part of Bournemouth's wider plan to transform the Premier League's smallest stadium into a venue capable of holding more than 20,000 supporters.

FGG says: Bournemouth fans will love this footage

For supporters who haven’t been back to the Vitality Stadium since the season ended, this latest footage offers the clearest glimpse yet of just how extensive the redevelopment is becoming.

What once existed only as planning documents and artist impressions is now taking shape in front of our eyes, with visible construction activity across multiple areas of the ground.

There’s still a long road ahead before the full project is complete, but the speed of progress suggests the Vitality Stadium could look dramatically different by the time the wider redevelopment is finished, and Cherries fans will be watching every step with excitement.
