Manchester City have gone to the top of the Premier League after an impressive win away against Fulham on Saturday afternoon much to the delight of the travelling Man City fans. The trip from Manchester to West London is around 200 miles but there was at least one fan in the Man City away end on Saturday whose journey wasn't quite that long.
Oasis guitarist and solo artist, Noel Gallagher, was spotted in the Man City away end by an eagle-eyed cameraman at Craven Cottage with the 56-year-old donning sunglasses to perhaps try and hide his identity.
Gallagher, and his brother Liam, are among the most famous football fans on the planet so it's unsurprising to see him enjoying a day in the away end, particularly as he now resides in London. The trip to Craven Cottage won't have been a long one for him but it was a chance to see his beloved Blues in action.
At one moment during the first half, the musician was seen declining a drink from a fellow City fan who appeared to offer him a hip flask. At another point, he was seen being mobbed by those around him after City made it 2-0 through Phil Foden in the second half.
However, perhaps the funniest moment came after City had made it 3-0. The vast majority of the away end started doing the Poznan, however, as the camera panned across the stand you could see Gallagher stood there facing the game looking unimpressed with those around him.

Noel Gallagher becomes a regular in Man City away end
It's the second consecutive week that Noel Gallagher has been in the Man City away end after he was also seen at the City Ground when City beat Nottingham Forest 2-0. Considering the Blues have won both matches Gallagher has attended without conceding a goal, Pep Guardiola will perhaps be hoping that he has a ticket for the match against Tottenham on Tuesday night.
The sight of a celebrity in an away end always provokes a mixed response from fans. Some believe it's good to see someone famous embracing the terraces over corporate hospitality while others believe they are simply taking the seat of someone who has accrued loyalty points from following the club up and down the country all season.
His brother, Liam, has also made a habit of watching matches from the away end in recent years with the Oasis frontman spotted in the City end for the Champions League final against Chelsea in 2021.
