Real Betis fans cover stadium in green and white
Real Betis fans produced a green and white display that covered the entirety of the Estadio Benito Villamarín. The stadium is split into three sections, and for the match on Sunday, the top and bottom of the sections were full of green pieces of paper, while the middle section was full of white paper.
This led to a colourful display of green and white on all four sides of the arena to resemble the home colours of Real Betis. Fans were also seen in videos posted on social media holding Betis scarves above their heads while chanting in unison with the other 55,000 supporters within the ground.

At the top of the large display behind the goal, it read, “Balompie, Essenica, Tradicion, Idiosincrasia Y Sevillania.” This translates to “Football, Scenic, Tradition, Idiosyncrasy and Seville.” The start of each word in Spanish was also highlighted in gold, meaning the five words at the top of the banner spelled out “Betis”.
