Everton's first season at the Hill Dickinson Stadium didn't quite go as well as the club would have been hoping, with the Toffees still finding their feet at their new home.

Across their 19 home Premier League fixtures, David Moyes' side won just six matches, a record that saw them finish 14th in the home league table.

Despite Everton's poor record at home, though, the vast majority of season ticket holders have elected to renew their tickets ahead of the 2025/26 season.

How many Everton fans have renewed their season tickets?

In recent days, Everton have confirmed that 97% of season ticket holders have renewed their season tickets ahead of next season. For the 2025/26 season, Everton had a season ticket holder base of 32,347, which means less than 1,000 season tickets will be up for grabs this summer for those on the waiting list.

The club are likely surprised at how many supporters have elected to renew, particularly after they upped the cost of season tickets.

For the 2026/27 season, the average cost of an adult season ticket at the Hill Dickinson Stadium is going up by £45, a move that was not well received by supporters after the Fan Advisory Board recommended three years of price freezes.

Everton fans were also largely unimpressed with a couple of other logistical factors last season. For starters, the club played more Monday night fixtures than anyone else in the 2025/26 season, and that is a trend that is expected to continue into next season, with nine Premier League clubs competing in Europe.

Secondly, transport links in and out of the stadium have been subpar for much of the season, and there is no indication that this will improve anytime soon.

FGG says: Loyalty continues to be taken advantage of

Premier League football clubs continue to hike season ticket prices, and fans continue to renew in their thousands. It's impossible to knock supporters for renewing their season tickets, as football can be such a big part of someone's life. However, the uncomfortable reality is that it only empowers owners to continue raising prices each summer.
