Arsenal travel to the Czech Republic to face Slavia Prague at the Fortuna Arena on Wednesday, November 4, for the fourth round of the Champions League league phase. Mikel Arteta's side remain unbeaten and have seven points from their opening three matches after a 2-2 draw at Bayern Munich, while Slavia have collected just one point.

The Gunners' travelling support faces a journey of around 645 miles from London to Prague, with direct flights taking roughly two hours. However, there are a few extra arrangements to consider, as all of Arsenal's 1,044 away tickets must be collected in Prague using a physical passport.

With kickoff scheduled for 9pm local time and the final whistle expected at around 11pm, getting back to London on the same night is not a realistic option. Most travelling supporters will therefore need to book a hotel, adding to the overall cost of the trip.

Once flights, accommodation, the match ticket and spending money are factored in, following Arsenal to Prague could easily cost more than £400. FootballGroundGuide takes a look at how much one Gunners fan can expect to spend, and you can also read our full guide to the Slavia Prague away end.

Accommodation is likely to be the biggest expense for an Arsenal fan travelling to Prague, with two nights in a budget hotel or private room estimated at £130, or around £65 per night. We have based our estimate on a Tuesday arrival and a Thursday flight home, as the late kickoff makes flying back on the same night impractical. KAYAK's latest results show fares of around £65-£85 on nearby dates, but we have allowed a little extra for a booking closer to the match. A further £25 covers the return journey from North London to the departure airport, while airport transfers in Prague are estimated at £6. An adult match ticket costs £42.35, according to Arsenal's official ticket page. This estimate assumes that the supporter has already secured a ticket, as the club's allocation has sold out.
