Chelsea's 2026/27 pre-season tour will begin at the end of the month when they travel to Australia for matches against Western Sydney Wanderers (Tuesday, 28 July) and London rivals Tottenham Hotspur (Saturday, 1 August).

Tickets for both matches at the Accor Stadium are still currently available, but bumper crowds are expected as the Premier League giants take over Sydney.

While there will be plenty of locals out in force to watch Chelsea live in action, plenty of Blues supporters are also set to travel to the Accor Stadium for the matches as they aim to watch their team under Xabi Alonso's management for the first time.

There is no way of giving an exact figure on the number of Chelsea fans that will be travelling to Sydney to watch their team take on either Western Sydney Wanderers or Tottenham Hotspur.

However, tickets for the fixtures are gradually selling out as the pre-season games approach, and bumper crowds are expected at the Accor Stadium.

Where will Chelsea fans sit at the Accor Stadium

As Chelsea's upcoming encounters with Western Sydney Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur are both pre-season friendly matches, they will be able to purchase tickets wherever they are still available in the Accor Stadium, meaning fans of both teams – and neutrals – will be mixed.

However, as mentioned above, plenty of tickets have already been purchased for these matches, leaving Chelsea fans with limited sections still available to sit in.

How to get to the Accor Stadium: Guide for Chelsea fans in Sydney

There are multiple ways for Chelsea fans to get to the Accor Stadium, particularly depending on how far you start your journey from the venue.

There are several Sydney bus routes that serve Sydney Olympic Park, including Route 525 (Parramatta to Strathfield), Route 526 (Rhodes to Burwood) and Route 533 (Sydney Olympic Park to Chatswood).

The Olympic Park Station is the closest railway station to Accor Stadium, with just a five-minute walk from the venue, and this is arguably the best and quickest option for Chelsea fans.
