UEFA Nations League D stadiums ranked by capacity

Unlike the rest of the UEFA Nations League, League D features only six teams, compared with the 16 in each of the other three leagues.

The six teams which compete at this level are the six lowest-ranked sides based on performances during the previous edition of the tournament. In the case of 2026/27, the six teams are Andorra, Azerbaijan, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, Lithuania and Malta.

As you might expect, the stadia used by these six nations are all on the small side, at least compared to some of the stadiums used in League A.

Below, we run through the seven stadiums which will be used for League D matches during this campaign.

7) Estadi de la FAF – Encamp, Andorra | Capacity: 5,600 | Opened: 2025

Fixtures:

• Andorra vs Malta – 24 September 2026
• Andorra vs Gibraltar – 13 November 2026

Located in the mountainous town of Encamp, the Estadi de la FAF is the smallest stadium being used in League D. It is considered the national team's stadium, and it is also the home stadium of FC Andorra, a club side that competes in the second tier of Spanish football.

6) Rheinpark Stadion – Vaduz, Liechtenstein | Capacity: 7,584 | Opened: 1998

• Liechtenstein vs Lithuania – 24 September 2026
• Liechtenstein vs Azerbaijan – 13 November 2026

Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz may only have a capacity of 7,584 but is one of the most picturesque stadiums in the entire Nations League. It sits on the banks of the River Rhine, on the border with Switzerland, and is the home stadium of club side FC Vaduz.

5) Europa Point Stadium – Gibraltar | Capacity: 8,066 | Opened: 2019

• Gibraltar vs Malta – 16 November 2026

Europa Point Stadium is another League D stadium that is well worth a visit for the setting alone. The Mediterranean Sea is in full view, with the stadium located at the southernmost point of the island. The stadium has a sleek, modern design and a UEFA-approved artificial playing surface.

4) Darius and Girenas Stadium – Kaunas, Lithuania | Capacity: 15,026 | Opened: 1925

• Lithuania vs Azerbaijan — 27 September 2026
• Lithuania vs Liechtenstein — 16 November 2026

Named after Lithuanian-American aviators Steponas Darius and Stasys Girenas, this stadium has undergone several rounds of renovations since originally opening in 1925. It is now a modern multi-purpose venue, fit for hosting international football matches and athletics meetings.

3) National Stadium (Ta' Qali) – Ta' Qali, Malta | Capacity: 16,997 | Opened: 1981

Fixtures:

• Malta vs Gibraltar – 1 October 2026
• Malta vs Andorra – 4 October 2026

Located in the Ta' Qali National Sports Complex near Attard, the Maltese National Stadium, commonly known as Ta' Qali National Stadium, is Malta’s largest football stadium and the home of the Malta national football team. The stadium has undergone several renovations over the years to improve its facilities.

2) Ganja City Stadium – Ganja, Azerbaijan | Capacity: 27,000 | Opened: 1963

Fixture:

• Azerbaijan vs Lithuania – 4 October 2026

Following significant renovation work in 2025, Ganja City Stadium has earned ther right to host international football matches alongside the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium and Baku Olympic Stadium. It is also the home stadium of Azerbaijan Premier League side Kapaz.

1) Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium – Baku, Azerbaijan | Capacity: 31,200 | Opened: 1951

Fixture:

• Azerbaijan vs Liechtenstein — 1 October 2026

The Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium is the biggest stadium being used for League D fixtures this season, with a capacity of 31,200. It isn't the biggest or most recognisable stadium in Baku, but the football authorities in the country don't believe that the Baku Olympic Stadium is the right fit for League D Nations League matches.
