West Ham Stadium Tour: How to get tickets and more

Stadium tours can be an excellent way for a supporter to not only learn about important moments in a club's history, but also experience their favourite team's home ground in a way not available to them otherwise.

The atmosphere on matchday is arguably unbeatable for a fan, but even that cannot provide the same behind-the-scenes access that a tour can.

With that in mind, here is everything you need to know about the West Ham stadium tour, including opening times and prices of tickets.

West Ham stadium tour tickets: admission prices

As is often the case with stadium tours, especially those being offered by Premier League clubs and other elite teams across the planet, there is a wide variety of options for you to choose from.

The ticket price can differ by significant amounts depending on which package you choose. The full price list for a West Ham stadium tour for adults is as follows:

  • London Stadium Guided Tour – £20/£22 (Pay in advance/Pay on the day)
  • Guided Matchday Tour – £35
  • London Stadium VIP Tour – £40
  • Guided VIP Matchday Tour – £45
  • Legends Tour – £45

Tickets for children aged between five and 15 range from £12-£35, while any kids under 5 will be permitted entry free of charge.

These prices are subject to change, so we always recommend checking the club's official website before purchasing any tickets.

West Ham stadium tour opening times

Much like the price, the opening times of the various West Ham stadium tours also depend on which package you opt for. Some, like the London Stadium Guided Tour, offer time slots every day of the week, while others are a little more scarce.

The opening times for each of the different tours are as follows:

  • London Stadium Guided Tour – 11am-3pm weekdays, 10am-3pm weekends
  • Matchday Guided Tour – Last tour ends four hours before kick-off on the selected day
  • London Stadium VIP Tour – Tours are available on weekends, bank holidays and school holidays but times and dates vary
  • Guided Matchday VIP Tour – Time slots dependent on kick-off time for selected day
  • Legends Tour – Dates and legends vary so booking in advance is highly recommended

Timings for all the packages outlined above can vary throughout the season, so consulting the club's official website is highly recommended year-round.

How to get to the London Stadium

Supporters are strongly discouraged from driving to the venue, whether that be on matchday, for stadium tours or for any other reason. An extensive resident-only parking zone has been implemented in the areas surrounding the ground, and as such, street parking is virtually impossible.

As a result, travelling to the London Stadium by train or tube is likely to be your best bet. When doing so you will want to head towards one of the following three nearby stations:

  • Stratford Station – Located next to the famous Westfield Shopping Centre in the area, boasting both overground and underground access into the station as well as being on the Docklands Light Railway line.
  • Stratford International Railway Station – Located on the opposite side of the Westfield Shopping Centre, this station is accessible via both the overground and the District Light Railway services.
  • Hackney Wick Railway Station – While the above stations are located on the East side of the stadium, Hackney Wick is situated to the west of the ground, and can only be accessed via the overground railway.

All three stations are within a 20-minute walking distance from the ground, but always remember to check your journey's respective travel time ahead of your visit.

As well as the individual perks that come with each of the respective packages, such as a signed photo from a club legend on the Legends Tour, each West Ham Stadium Tour will also grant fans access to some key areas of the ground.

These include facilities such as dressing rooms, manager's dugouts and trophy cabinets, but also the hospitality restaurant, indoor athletics track and much more.

The duration of the different West Ham stadium tours also varies, with some permitting supporters access to more areas than others. Irrespective of which package you ultimately decide is right for you, we hope you have a fantastic time during your visit.
