Following the conclusion of the World Cup quarter-finals on Sunday, 12 July, we now have two blockbuster semi-finals to look forward to.
First up, Spain will take on France on Tuesday, 14 July, in a match between two of the best-performing teams at the tournament so far. The match will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, and will kick off at 20:00 BST.
The second semi-final is between England and Argentina, in the latest edition of a historic rivalry. The match will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and will also kick off at 20:00 BST.
If you are trying to get tickets for either World Cup semi-final, here is everything you need to know.
How to get tickets for the World Cup semi-finals
Via FIFA
Buying original tickets for the World Cup semi-finals is now highly unlikely, given that the vast majority of tickets for these matches were snapped up during the early ticket ballots held at the end of last year and the beginning of this one.
Since April, FIFA have operated the ‘last minute tickets phase‘ where limited tickets for each match have been released to the public. It's unclear whether any semi-final tickets will be available during this sales phase, but it's worth checking the FIFA ticket portal each day in case some are released.
If that doesn't work, your best bet is to try buying tickets through FIFA's official resale platform. This is where ticket holders can list any unwanted tickets to other supporters. Unfortunately, there is no cap on what ticket holders can list their tickets for, and semi-final listings are expected to be extortionate.

Via third parties
Considering FIFA are effectively allowing ticket touting on their resale platform, many fans are turning to third-party resale websites to see if they can pick up tickets at a lower price.
While these websites do not offer the same ticket guarantees as FIFA, some can be trusted because they verify that all tickets are legitimate before listing them.
To give FGG readers peace of mind, we recently reviewed two of the biggest resale platforms, Seatpick and LiveFootballTickets, and fans are encouraged to read those reviews before purchasing.
World Cup semi-final ticket prices
Face-value tickets for the semi-finals were originally priced between $930 and $3,295 before FIFA were persuaded to add a small number of $60 tickets for fans of the competing nations.
With all of these tickets now sold out, fans are being forced to the resale market, where tickets are even more expensive. The cheapest ticket on the FIFA resale market for either of the two semi-finals is over $2,000, while on SeatPick, you can pick up tickets for France vs Spain for £770 and England vs Argentina for £1,550.
