Enzo Le Fee has been a revelation for Sunderland since joining the club on an initial loan spell in January 2025.
Since impressing during that initial period at the Stadium of Light, Le Fee has gone on to become a permanent fixture in the Sunderland first-team dressing room, much to the delight of the club's supporters, who took to him from week one.
It didn't take long for these fans to create Le Fee a chant, either. For all the key information on the chant, including the lyrics and tune, we have you covered below.
Enzo Le Fee chant, lyrics and tune
The lyrics to the Enzo Le Fee football chant are as follows:
We've got Le Fee, Enzo Le Fee,
I just don't think you understand,
He's super Regis' man, he's better than Zidane,
We've got super Enzo Le Fee
Enzo Le Fee chant background
As mentioned earlier, Enzo Le Fee joined Sunderland in January 2025, and it was in this exact same month that this chant had its first airing in a match against Plymouth Argyle at the Stadium of Light on 25/01/25.
The chant was easy enough to create, as the same template has been used by several clubs over the years. Perhaps the most famous iteration of the chant was the one West Ham fans created for Dimitri Payet back in the mid-2010s; while the John McGinn version is another popular one.
This chant is often saved for creating midfielders, hence the Zidane comparison, and Le Fee is certainly one of Sunderland's most creative players.

FGG says: Proving he belongs at the elite level
While the comparisons to Zinedine Zidane are obviously tongue-in-cheek, Le Fee is at least proving that he is capable of playing at the highest levels. The Frenchman has enjoyed a good start to his Premier League career with Sunderland, and a France call-up, where he can follow in Zidane's footsteps, might not be too far away.
