Real Betis

Sevilla F.C.
Sevilla F.C, on the other hand, was founded much earlier in 1890, which makes the La Liga outfit one of the oldest teams in the world. Sevilla play their home matches at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, a 43,000-capacity football ground.
Sevilla's progress over the years is defined by a history richly endowed with success on the pitch. The La Liga team boast several football honours, including one La Liga title in 1945/46, four Segunda Division titles, five Copa Del Rey titles and one Supercopa de Espana title.
Sevilla have made more of a name for themselves in Europe, though, which gives them the edge in bragging rights over Real Betis. Sevilla have won more Europa League titles than anyone else, with seven titles to their name with the latest coming in the 2022/23 season. Despite their success in the Europa League, they have only ever won the Super Cup once.
The club have gone through a period of decline in recent years, finishing in the bottom half of the table for the last three seasons. Their last campaign, meanwhile, saw them battle against relegation as they finished the 2024/25 season in a lowly 17th spot.
