Arsenal supporters once again turned the Emirates Stadium into a sea of colour ahead of another huge London derby.

A brand-new 40-metre tifo display caught the eye before kick-off against Chelsea, and it certainly did not disappoint.

Arsenal fans unveil impressive new tifo at Emirates Stadium

Supporter group REDaction Gooners organised a giant banner that was unveiled across the East Stand Lower at Emirates Stadium before Arsenal beat Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.

Hung from Club Level down onto the seats below, the banner featured a striking design incorporating six current stars, including captain Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and William Saliba.

It was created following supporter consultation – the same process used for the striking North London Derby tifo earlier this season.

Supporters were encouraged to be in place ten minutes before kick-off and to get involved in the familiar pre-match rendition of ‘The Angel'.

Social media reaction was overwhelmingly positive, with fans describing the display as “amazing” as images circulated online.

The coordinated effort once again demonstrated the growing role of organised fan displays at the Emirates, helping to generate an exciting atmosphere ahead of what was a high-stakes encounter.

FGG says: Another successful Emirates Stadium display as Arsenal beat Chelsea

The Emirates has often been criticised for lacking atmosphere since it opened in 2006, but displays like this tell a completely different story.

When fans and club work together, the visual impact can be powerful, and it clearly set the tone before a crucial win over Chelsea, as it moved the Gunners five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

This sort of thing is now becoming a regular feature for Arsenal, so long may it continue.
