Arsenal supporters produced a memorable tifo ahead of their North London Derby victory over Tottenham, featuring legendary figures from the club’s history.

The vast display, unveiled at the North Bank moments before kick-off, included a striking image of Thierry Henry, who remained a central presence in the club’s derby story.

The banner showcased several icons, with Sol Campbell positioned prominently alongside Henry, Tony Adams, Gabriel, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.

This scene helped create a fierce atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal prepared for one of the most anticipated fixtures of their season.

Henry acknowledged the tribute shortly after full-time, posting an image of the tifo on Instagram Stories with the message: “What a tifo! Thank you Gooners!”

The former striker has an unbroken winning record in this fixture and famously produced his iconic knee-slide celebration against Spurs, later immortalised in statue form outside the stadium and used on the tifo.

The night brought another set of memories for supporters, as the team delivered an emphatic 4-1 victory that elevated the mood even further.

Eze’s hat-trick crowns a dominant Arsenal display

Eberechi Eze, who could one day join the list of figures honoured in future tifos, stole the spotlight with a superb hat-trick.

His performance made him the first player to score a Premier League hat-trick in the North London Derby and the 23rd Arsenal player to achieve one in the competition, a record unmatched by any other club.

The attacker, a lifelong Arsenal fan, rejected Tottenham in August before completing a £60 million move from Crystal Palace.

His decision appeared fully vindicated as he tormented Spurs throughout the match, scoring once before the interval and twice in the second half.

Campbell’s presence on the tifo stirs old rivalry

Arsenal supporters added another layer of theatre by placing Campbell at the centre of the display.

His controversial free transfer from Tottenham in 2001 still stands as one of the most dramatic moments in Premier League history and remains a painful memory for Spurs fans.

Campbell made more than 200 appearances for Arsenal, winning two Premier League titles and two FA Cups before leaving in 2006, later returning for a short spell in 2010.

FGG Says

Arsenal’s derby tifo underlined the club’s rich history, drawing together legends who defined different eras, while Eze’s performance hinted at the next generation of figures capable of joining them.

Henry’s message of appreciation captured the bond between past heroes and current supporters, reinforcing why the Emirates thrives on occasions like these. The decision to place Campbell front and centre added a deliberate edge, reminding Spurs of one of the most symbolic transfers ever made.
