Aston Villa's ambitious Villa Park redevelopment continues to take shape, with the latest aerial footage showing extensive work across the site.

Piling, concrete foundations and structural preparations are now clearly visible as the project moves towards its next major phase.

Aerial footage filmed on September 22nd has provided another look at the progress being made on the ongoing Villa Park expansion, with piling operations continuing across the redevelopment site.

The update shows piles being installed in a specific pattern to create the foundations for the expanded structure, while significant areas of concrete have already been poured and deep rebar installations are visible around the stand extensions.

Much of the rear of the existing stand has now been stripped back, leaving the area prepared for the next stage of construction as work continues around the operational stadium.

The redevelopment is also requiring changes to existing infrastructure, with a generator room relocated as part of the work around the North Stand.

The footage also highlights structural gaps being incorporated into the design, which will help maintain airflow around the pitch and provide space required for ongoing pitch maintenance once the expanded stadium is completed.

More detailed construction plans are expected to emerge in future updates as the foundations and piling work begin to give way to more obvious structural changes.
