Celtic supporters will notice a fresh look when arriving at Parkhead for evening fixtures this season following a new lighting installation.
The project is designed to enhance the stadium's exterior rather than make changes inside the ground.
Celtic have installed new lighting around Celtic Park
Celtic Park has received a new LED lighting upgrade aimed at improving the matchday experience for supporters approaching the stadium after dark.
The work, carried out by DC Lighting in partnership with Signify and Rexel, focuses on illuminating the large external banners surrounding the stadium to create a brighter and more striking appearance on evening matchdays.
Footage of the completed installation shows the stadium's exterior branding standing out far more prominently, giving Parkhead a cleaner and more modern look ahead of the new season.
The project relates solely to the outside of the stadium and is not connected to the main floodlights, any structural redevelopment or wider renovation plans.
DC Lighting said the new system would create a “fantastic visual impact” for supporters arriving at evening fixtures, while also thanking the Scottish Premiership champions for selecting the company to complete the installation.
No cost has been disclosed, and there has been no indication that the work forms part of a larger stadium improvement programme.
Instead, the upgrade is intended as a relatively modest enhancement that should be most noticeable during European nights, winter fixtures and other matches played under the lights.
