Dundee FC's proposed move from Dens Park to a new stadium at Camperdown has encountered another obstacle, with a fresh public consultation required before a planning decision can be made.
The latest development means supporters face an even longer wait to discover whether the club's 12,500-capacity stadium project will receive the green light.
What's the latest on Dundee's Camperdown stadium prospect?
Dundee's planning application was originally submitted by Dark Blue Property Holdings in February 2024, outlining plans for a new stadium alongside a hotel, restaurant, crematorium and residential development.
However, almost three years on, Dundee City Council has yet to reach a decision, with planning officials confirming that another public consultation is required following the submission of revised information, as per The Courier.
Head of planning Gregor Hamilton told councillors that the consultation would take place once further information had been provided by the applicant. Officers would then assess the proposals before preparing a report for the planning committee.

The revised masterplan, submitted in August, includes significant changes to the proposed road access from the Kingsway.
Previous junction designs attracted concerns from transport authorities, with the latest proposal switching to a left-in-only arrangement. All traffic leaving the stadium, hotel and crematorium complex would now be required to exit via Dayton Drive.
A spokesperson for DBPH said the company had provided all requested information and was looking forward to a committee date being confirmed.
The application will be decided by Dundee City Council's 29-member planning committee rather than through delegated powers.
Its next scheduled meeting is December 14th, although the additional consultation makes it unlikely the stadium proposal will be ready for consideration by then.
FGG says: Dundee supporters face another frustrating wait for Camperdown
This latest delay is another setback for a project that has been under consideration for years, with supporters still unable to see a clear route towards leaving Dens Park.
The revised access plans and further consultation underline the complexity of delivering such a large development, but the prolonged process will inevitably test the patience of Dundee fans.
Camperdown remains an ambitious opportunity for the club, although the priority now must be securing a planning decision and providing supporters with a realistic timetable for the future.
