Manchester City's Etihad Stadium redevelopment appears unlikely to meet its October 17th completion target, with the latest footage showing work continuing across several areas.

Screen installation remains ongoing as the stadium prepares to host another Champions League fixture amid the construction activity.

Man City unlikely to hit Etihad Stadium redevelopment deadline

Aerial footage filmed by CC Overview this week shows that the Etihad Stadium remains an active construction site, despite the initial target of completing the latest work by this Saturday.

Much of the update focuses on the installation of stadium screens, with progress varying across different sections. Some locations have screens in place alongside frames and wiring, while other areas appear untouched.

The footage also shows the stadium being prepared for the Paris Saint-Germain match on Wednesday night, with advertising boards installed around the pitch and cards laid out on seats for supporters.

However, the usual marquee setup for that Champions League clash was absent, with several access points around the ground remaining surrounded by ongoing construction work.

With just days remaining before the original deadline, the uneven progress on the screens raises questions over whether all the planned work can be completed in time.

This update does not confirm a revised completion date, leaving uncertainty over when the remaining elements will be finished.

FGG says: More uncertainty for Man City?

Man City may struggle to meet the October 17 target, with the latest footage showing screens still to be installed and construction continuing around the ground.

The latest construction update also comes during a period of uncertainty for the club off the pitch, with City still awaiting the outcome of proceedings relating to the Premier League's financial charges.

However, the stadium deadline remains uncertain, and the absence of a confirmed revised date means it is too early to draw firm conclusions about the overall project.

What is clear is that work continues as the ground prepares for every matchday.
