Everton reveal Hill Dickinson Stadium improvements ahead of 2026/27 Premier League season

Everton have revealed that numerous improvements have been made at the Hill Dickinson Stadium over the summer ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 Premier League season.

The Toffees finished 13th in their first campaign at the new ground in 2025/26 after leaving Goodison Park, and the club have now announced a series of improvements following their first-season learnings, operational reviews and feedback from supporters.

Everton announce Hill Dickinson improvements

Everton have released a statement detailing changes made to the Hill Dickinson after work was carried out throughout the summer to evolve and improve the matchday experience ahead of their 2026/27 Premier League opener against Crystal Palace.

One of many changes will see Everton launch a new trial during their opening three home Premier League fixtures, in which selected pints of beer will be available for £4.50 during the first 45 minutes after the stadium opens, with 50p from every sale donated to The 1878s.

This is part of an initiative to help fund supporter-led matchday displays, with other changes to help this initiative including improvements in Club View, extended post-match opening in the South Stand and a range of accessibility enhancements.

Club View improvements include new padded seats being installed throughout the area, with the concourse also revamped with additional food and drink service points being installed, while changes to the £10 matchday credit system made to make it easier for groups attending together.

Further improvements were also made across the wider stadium campus, including the historic Hydraulic Tower entering an exciting new chapter following significant investment to restore and bring the Grade II-listed building back into active use.

Subject to approval from local authorities, the tower will become a distinctive Premium matchday destination, while it will also be open for events and hospitality use on non-matchdays.

Everton have also revealed live entertainment and DJs will be operating on the Budweiser Plaza, as well as increased food and drink outlets, more mobile beer sellers and the continuation of self-service beer stations as the club hope to draw fans to the stadium earlier on matchdays.

Fans will also still be able to purchase personalised stones to be installed within The Dock Lines, while improved signage has been installed throughout the venue to help supporters locate seats, facilities and other areas easier.

Alongside all these changes, Everton have stated that the Hill Dickinson Stadium will continue to evolve and improve throughout the 2026/27 season, with further enhancements already being considered as part of future phases of work.
